djrey Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 PLMC RAT ABR 20 Dry Review: very young box but I’m enjoying them and thought the small ring would be fun for a water test. Fires up light body. Woody and some sweet tobacco notes. That’s it. Second third provides the same core flavors just turned up a notch. Simple but good. Final third is where I really find my enjoyment in young PL. Medium maybe touching medium full. A touch of cinnamon and clove with the wood. A sour note coming in as well. Certainly young and out of balance but I still enjoy it. 88 pts. PLMC RAT ABR 20 Wet Review: Due to the length I gave this one a nice rinse under the faucet for a good 5 seconds then a light pat dry. Cigar felt very wet and def picked up some weight. Begins the same as the dry. Light body and a light floral woody tobacco flavor. Nothing more. Second third is smooth tobacco notes. Creamy texture and a slight nut flavor. Final third it got a bit heated and harsh. A slight sour bitter note came over the profile that I didn’t note in the dry version. Burn was great overall. 87 pts. Really not any difference here until the final third. I preferred the dry more due to the lack of sour that came over the final 3rd of the wet example. 2
