Popular Post kalibratecuba Posted August 2, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 2, 2020 We were given the option of reviewing a Cuban or non-Cuban cigar. I went with both. The Brazil Trüllerie Fernando (4.3 x 50) is a short-filler blend of Brazillian Mata Fina and Mata Norte, and Cuban Vuelta Abajo and Remedios. I also went with this stick because I have read discussions in the forums about the export of Cuban tobacco and non-Cubans blended with Cyban tobacco. The answer is usually no, but there seems to be a few that do. This stick's construction gives any peso cigar a run for its money. You won't impress anyone by gifting it to them. Even a novice cigar smoker may ask why you don't like them. This is a cigar that you can choose to smoke and not have to enter a meditative state to dissect the nuances and contemplate. You will find yourself nodding your head because you are enjoying it more than you thought you would. The initial flavour is impressive. Sweet and spicy at the start. The cigar is burning fast, even for a short-filler. I try to pace myself. It's surprising how well the ash has held up. Anything Cuban has moved to the back of the bus. This baby is now spicy without being overbearing. I guess the Cuban tobacco is the pacifist here telling the Brazillian to not be so aggressive. The blending is well done. As I reach the band the cigar becomes a bit acrid. Bits of tobacco are falling into my mouth. I purchased two cigars that had Cuban tobacco in them. This and La Estancia . I have only smoked one of each. This cigar wins when weighing satisfaction in relation to price point. This cigar could be great if they thought it made sense to use long-filler and increase production quality. Skip Martin of RoMa Craft based his Wunderlust blend on this vitola, the torbusto. It's even rolled at the same August Schuster factory. I would choose this stick over those. Rating 84/100 Sent from my GM1917 using Tapatalk 4 1
