Popular Post Silverstix Posted July 21, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 21, 2020 Love the PC vitola. Siglo II was the first real Cuban I ever smoked, so I’m always a little bit biased anyway. Great looking, a solid roll, one large vein but it didn’t pose a problem. Smell at cold is a pretty powerful sweet mustiness. Draw ended up being a little more firm than I like. Ultimately the combustion was not ideal, required 5 or 6 relights to keep it going. Frequent puffing. Flavor profile was dark - by that I mean it was dominated by leather, cedar, and pepper as opposed to the citrus/grass/honey. It did show glimpses of a rich sweetness for a puff here and a puff there, mostly in the last 3rd, but nothing consistent enough for my liking. It was not a bad tasting cigar by any means, but I prefer the “lighter” Cohiba profile as opposed to this one. I feel like that citrus/grass/honey is what sets Cohiba apart from the other marcas. Total smoke time: 70 mins Overall: 87/100 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 6
