Ramon Allones Specially Selected ‘15 (RRRRW)

Picked this up years ago as a box split so sorry no box code. Havnt been too impressed with these in the past. Some have had very little flavor and others were just ok. Let’s see what today brings.

Very nice construction. Firm pack with a slightly snug draw which I prefer. Natural wrapper, hint of colorado with light oils.

We start out mild medium body. Tobacco notes, light cedar wood and a touch of baking spices. Smoke is plentiful but not palette coating.

2nd third and I am quite enjoying this! Best RASS yet. Solid medium bodied. Silky smoke that is becoming thicker. Sweet fruit notes coming forward with the same tobacco/wood background.

Final third and we are much the same. Fruit fades a bit to the background. We are classic medium body with a rich smooth tobacco flavor.

I think the reason these annoy me is consistency. This one was great. Provided an hour and a half of enjoyment. But the others I have had over the years can be quite dull.
