No they are not. They have introduced heat blowers for maintaining a constant temperature during the drying process. Cuts up to 10 days off drying time. Most wealthy Hong Kongians also only wear ROLEX and drive Black Mercedes. It only takes one rumour and it becomes a Chicken Little procesion of lemmings. Unique place.

Some old stick in the muds may feel threatend by young tobacco that is good. Would not the old valued aged stock become less sought after? How does better curing become cooking? Does not the sun "cook" all the time? Would an extra warm day be cooking? If I could get my young quality cigars cooked to taste like 10 year olds I would jump on it:-D

El Presidente Posted January 24, 2006 Author Posted January 24, 2006 The fear is that the use of blowers in the drying process is somehow inhibiting the long term aging ability of the cigar (hence the don't purchase after late 03 group which exists albeit small). I am not here to disparage this group. I just dont agree with their argument.
