Silverstix Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Bought a 6’er of these aged shorties a few months ago on 24:24. They were new to me, figured I’d take a flier on them. This was 2nd one, the 1st one was smoked way too soon after arrival and it was a really unpleasant experience. Now with 90 days down, I gave the 2nd one a go. Short cigar so no real evolution or complexity. It starts out with a berry impression for sure, and keeps a sort of underlying tartness. There is some cedar present and plenty of natural tobacco goodness. This is primarily the mix throughout the smoking experience. Very enjoyable profile. Retrohale is smooth as silk. Construction was great - burn line needs no corrections and the draw is right in my wheelhouse with a small punch cut. Smoked this slowly. Smoke time: 50 minutes!!! parabola66 Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 I think I bought a box of these on the same 24:24. Mostly the same experience... no evolution, but just a solid flavor packed cigar that's smooth throughout. 1

I'd still rather have a minuto if I'm going small format though

It's really just the proportions that I don't like. Interestingly, the QDO 50 measures 4.3"x50, yet it feels better in the hand. I guess that .3" makes a big difference ha ha (that's what she said) 1
