Punch Regios de Punch/TRU DIC 17 /PPPRW

I just happened to have pulled one of these ELs out a week ago to see how it was doing.  And of course as luck would have it along came a Punch review chance.   AND a mild head cold.  That turned into an ear and sinus mess....

sheesh...

Still, I’m on the mend and I was determined.   Cap was crude.  I cut it off.  Cold draw was perfection.  There was a slight tear in the wrapper.  It didn’t end up being an issue.  Upon lighting I got leather.   Not an overpowering flavor at all, but that’s all I was able to appreciate.  For pretty much the entire smoke.... ?

Burn was perfect.  I’d had several from this box and many were well under-filled.  Not this one.  Smoke production was excellent.   Ash held well.  There was a hint of spiciness, and I believe it was a better cigar than I was able to appreciate, but I’ll probably be taking a full week off trying anything else.  At least.  I just can’t taste properly....
