Cigar Salute Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Hello friends, I have a NewAir aw280e model Wine fridge that was purchased in 2014 & converted into a wineador. The unit has begun to leak humidity, as the 20+ 60 gram 65% Boveda packs are no longer going above 60-61%. The packs are not in need of replacement just yet, and the amount of packs has always historically been more than enough to keep the unit stabilized at the desired humidity. Upon inspection, the seal of the unit has a gap in the top left corner that I can slide a piece of paper into. I attempted to moisten the seal with Vaseline, and then restore it with a blow dryer, this helped a bit, but still not where I'd like to be. I went to NewAir's site, and they do not have the gasket seal listed on their site, and they seem to just sell the entire door with the seal attached (which they are out of stock on anyways) Have any of you replaced this seal? If so, any guidance & recommendations you can provide me as far as purchasing the correct gasket door seal would be most appreciated. Of if someone knows of a method to fix the existing seal; or at the very least, stop the leak, I'm open to all suggestions. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this, enjoy your day friends! - Dan 1
