Popular Post Silverstix Posted March 9, 2020 Popular Post Posted March 9, 2020 An aged 2013 box that I bought here on 24:24 a couple years ago. So glad I was quick on the keyboard that day. The box has great Colorado colored wrappers, construction and draw has been above average so far (I’ve smoked 10). Off we go. First puffs are sweet cream. Then a rich quality leather. Then some of that Partagas classic spice - don’t know how else to describe it but if you’ve smoked Partagas you know. Kind of like a meaty chili, with green and red peppers, I’ve heard paprika described and I guess that’s pretty close. Draw on this is a little too firm for me, not opening up like I’d hoped. The head of the cigar is just packed with tobacco. One shot with the perfect draw and all is good. Leather has receded now. It’s a mix of sweet cream and the Partagas spice. More cream up front and spice on the finish. Solidly medium bodied. This is a well rolled cigar - look at that ash!! This cigar is a fine representation of the other 9 cigars that I’ve smoked from this box. I have 15 left and I plan on smoking them sparingly so as to experience a 10+ year old Party.
