Popular Post Silverstix Posted February 16, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 16, 2020 First cigar in 3 weeks (vacation followed by the flu). Had a decent February day here in NY, and my son had a hockey game, perfect opportunity to smoke another one of these Connie 1’s This one had a small crack by the band, but other than that construction is great. A solid fill, a slightly firm draw with a punch cut. Smooth wrapper with no imperfections. Starts off very mild and toasty. Generic wood and earth. 1/3 - mild/medium body, getting extremely floral with an almost perfume like aroma and retrohale. Burn line and draw are both great. 2/3 mild/medium body still, with an almost overpowering perfume finish now. Getting some flashes of peppery spice, some chalky/flour stuff going on. Draw is tightening up, requires a couple of lighter touch ups to keep things going. 3/3 medium bodied, a continuation of the same but taking on a darker profile in general. Pleasant enough. Good. Not great. Something tasty to smoke without having to worry about focusing on complexity. Overall: 86 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 6
