Monte Petit Eddie PUR DIC16(XNYRC)

This one is off a box purchased on 24:24.  I pulled it the other day after just shy of 30days rest.  Once I get’em, my patience starts to sweat. ??

Without further adieu, I present PUR DIC16.  Let’s make some good times.

Opening remarks:  This is well packed and just dripping with cocoa & coffee color.  I paired it with a Founders Stout.  They are like two peas in that pod.

1/3:  I was expecting more of a BANG! at the start.  It instead eased out of the gate.  There’s that Monte aroma with some saltiness. The cocoa builds with some creaminess out on the edges.  This is below medium.   Some coffee hints begin to show.  The flavors aren’t a powerhouse yet, but very light instead.

2/3: More of the same from first third.  This unfortunately isn’t building to much more.  Where’s the crescendo Monte?  Maybe more rest will do the trick.  ??

In review:  I think after another 30-60 days, this will shine even brighter.  For now, we will rate this 89 with mucho upside.
