Meklown Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 This was smoked on Monday with a nice coffee (c&c) on my last activity in Fukuoka before my return flight. If anyone hasn't been to Fukuoka before, it's highly recommended with a nice environment to walk around and relax in, with fantastic food options! Hoyo ep2 is definitely workhorse in my stable, it has had a place in my daily rotation for many years now. This one was presented with fantastic Colorado shade wrapper with good construction. There was a green spot and minor blemishes but neither turned out to affect the taste. I did not have a cutter with me so just used my fingernails to peel off the cap, revealing a nice little divot. Cold draw: Lots of clove 1st 3rd: cigar begins with more cloves, and after a few puffs was presented with clotted cream as well. There was some Bitter coffee and Cocoa Bean flavours coming through. 2nd 3rd: more of the same flavours, with the pleasant coffee, cocoa and cream flavours coming through. Some Vanilla comes along to mute the cloves now Into the 3rd 3rd: notes of Sweet tangerines and Cedar coming through to complement the coffee and Cocoa which were the theme for this cigar. Slightly less cream overall than what I may expect from a Hoyo ep2. Overall, the draw and burn were both good, never needing any relights. Score: 85/100 3

Nothing else that wow-ed me, so no bonus points for that
