Partagas P2 2014 (JMRW)

The first cc’s I got from a friend who introduced me to FOH sometime last summer. He gAve me a care package and said this is what I like to smoke, as I remember all the cigars were circa 2014 but was before I started even knowing what a date code and factory code was so all I know is it is from 2014. 
It’s funny I just reviewed mystery cigar #5 and said how I have lost my love for the pyramid ... after this bad boy I think no matter the viltola when u get a good one u get a good one. 
1st third is amazing Out The gate. Cuban twang, I mean twang dang doodle ! Mixed with cream and so damn rich and clean. It’s literally so smooth and the taste is so good I’m chewing at the cap. The only real comparison I can make and I apologize for being crude is it’s like eating the best p...y you ever ate. You just want to keep eating it. Lol. This may or may not make sense but I’m my twisted mind it does. 

2nd third More rich and now wood ever so slightly In the background shows up along with some party spice but just barley. Like it’s there but not overpowering at all. I also get random puffs of pure sugar. I mean sugar like when u eat fudge and it makes your mouth drool. Just a few random draws but it’s crazy. It keep its smoothness and class all the way so far. 

final third it shows zero youth and zero edges. I can puff it as many times as I want in a row and it’s never harsh or hot. Just straight class. It finally becomes a Partagas. Spice becomes stronger making my lips tingle and the nicotine becomes apparent along with rich tobacco and still smooth as silk. 

i take it down to the literal nub wanting to not waste a single puff of this masterpiece. 
I have dropped this cigar two times today. Swapped it from humi to humi and on and on. Basically beat it up and yet it still is my cigar of the year ... still have a month left ... 

I would rate it at 97 all day. Every once in a while you get one that’s so good it makes you know you have switched to the right one. This was the one. 
smoke time 80 minutes. Draw perfect. Burn pretty good considering how I beat it up.
 

I’m just not sure if it could get any better. My mind says by becoming a party at the end it makes it as it should but I feel like if it stayed as it did the first two thirds it would have been even better. Not sure which I would have enjoyed more but this was a Winner. Thanks to my buddy for the hook up
