Popular Post tigger Posted November 17, 2019 Popular Post Posted November 17, 2019 I'm a longtime fan of the Le Hoyo series. And a longtime detractor of HSA's march away from "reasonably"-sized cigars. I try to keep an open mind, so back in August, I ordered a 10 count box of San Juans from our host. I fired up my first this afternoon. I must say it's a terrific cigar - true to both marca and series. It's mid-bodied, but very flavorful. Every few draws were a new combination of wood, cream and sweet baking spice, with some wonderful berry notes in the first third. I still loathe the size. It strikes me as a crass, clunky and ostentatious. But I'm looking forward to trying another in a couple of years' time. Rating: I'm feeling dirty, but quite satisfied. ? 7 1 1
