Gamehawker Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 I got this as a gift last year from “THEMISCHMAN”. Bolivar is not one of my favorite line of cigars and I have never tried a Royal Coronas before so I thought I would give it a try while I was roasting some coffee. I usually do not smoke fresh cigars so I have been waiting to smoke this with at least 2 years of age on it and since it was rolled in November 2017 I decided it was time. I clipped the head and the aroma and pre-lit smell was really good. The first third was a mixture of dirt and coffee taste to it. I really was not enjoying it but I kept smoking it to see if it could get better. The second third was slightly getting better but again really not great compared to my usual H. Upmann Connie No. 1. i stuck with it a little more but gave up and tossed it when I reached the final third because it was getting really unenjoyable for me. Score = 80 / 100 I guess the Bolivar marca is not my cup of tea. I have a half box left of Bolivar Petit Coronas "ULA ABR 14" and I can see why I rarely dip into them to smoke them. 1
