Bolivar Petit Coronas. A go to for me. Consistent. Perfect candidate for a review. About 50 degrees here in NY with a bit of wind, this calls for a 45-60min smoke. Enter the BPC. Wrapper is a little dull with a couple of green spots, which means it will probably be delicious.

 

Toasts up easily with a draw that is perfect. Delivers typical earthy licorice right off the bat.

 

 

1/3 settles in with the typical Bolivar earth/leather/licorice in that order. Burn line is a little wavy but no lighter needed. Ash is firm. Very smooth to start. Smoking like a cigar with 5 years on it.

 

 

2/3 sees the licorice fade, and earthy leather dominating the profile. Still smooth as silk. Burn still not requiring any touch up. My feet are up, as is my hood, little chilly in the shade but this Boli is building and it’s taking my mind off the weather.

 

 

3/3 the profile gets a little darker, I guess you could call it black coffee. But it’s really just getting a little less smooth and showing some elbows. Still tasty though.

I looooove these. I still have a few from a 3 year old box, and I am realizing that I should have bought a 2nd box and put it away. I think I will go do that after this post!
I had to laugh at your mention of 50 degrees. Here in Denver, that's a pleasant winter's day! I was trying to smoke on my porch the other day when it was 36 degrees. It snowed for 3 days straight. We even got into the minus degrees last week! 
I must invest in a good heater!

Ya know, I’m just not ready for it man!! Here in NY we get plenty of cold winter weather so I know how to layer it up and do what I gotta do, but it’s been a warm fall and it’s just starting to feel like winter is getting here now. Today it really felt like wow it’s not getting into the 60s anymore

I was able to snag 3 boxes from 2014 and another from 2017 recently here so I have a good stock on some with a few years on them. They are my most consistent go-to that very rarely lets me down.
