Popular Post Grateful13 Posted September 29, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 29, 2019 This CoRo was from the aged sampler from March 2018 so it’s been resting in my humidor for 18 months. I’ve only had a few young CoRos before so I was really looking forward to this one. I give it a V cut to start, perfect open draw with sweet tobacco flavor. Upon lighting the first flavors are more sweet tobacco with a vanilla bean touch. There is also the orange citrus zest element there. The smoke is very thick and creamy and oh so smooth. Very nice. As the first third draws to an end the burn gets a bit uneven and a touch up is needed. A sign of things to come. The flavors don’t change much throughout the cigar so no need to break the review into thirds. Sweet tobacco with vanilla core, creamy with a buttery mouth feel. The citrus note comes and goes with every few puffs and the strength gradually increases till the end. The ash holds until well past half way. The only downside is the burn, which stays uneven and needs several touch ups, some of the wrapper just doesn’t want to stay lit. Overall a great smoke, one of the best I’ve had. 94/100 7
