Romeo and Julieta Belicoso 2001 (RJBRW)

Ryj Belicoso open was mostly wood and ceder with an occasional sweetness. Some earth as well.

2/3 became leather and pepper but very light finish was a nice afternoon smoke. Burn continued great and the time down had made it very mellow and smooth. Almost no bite at all. 

final 3rd came back the wood and maybe some coffee and cream. The finish started to stay on my tongue a little longer but not too long. Never got too hot or tannic at all. Nice pleasant smoke. Some sweetness like honey showed up at the very end along with vanilla as well  

Aroma from the cigar from start to finish was excellent one of the best I have ever smelled as it burned. Smoke time was an hour and 15 minutes start to nub ! This is the oldest cigar I have personally ever smoked and it was a very nice treat to see how the age affects a stick. 

i would rate it about 91. None of the flavors to me that people talk about when they describe ryj in general but a great stick that has aged well.

Sounds good! Nice to read a positive review, seems like most of these RyJ reviews from this weekend have all been pretty subpar. I would have to say of the global brands RyJ is pretty great and underperforming. I have had so many bad RyJ cigars, yet I love the brand, weird.

This one was pretty good. The o on box i have is of short Churchill’s and they r a nice smoke as well. Not life altering but always consistent to me. I too like them but probably have fewer ryj than any other marca. Odd I agree.
