Lucass111 Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 I was running short on time this morning so I had to go with something a little smaller. I opened the humidor and grabbed a Monte Media Corona with a bit of age. The construction is great. I went with a V cut and the draw was an absolute dream! I was kind of worried about the humidity outside but no issue arose. The first third was a bit harsh and bitter. I did get bits of cocoa but mainly a strong tobacco harshness. The second third the smoke came too. The flavor started to shine. I got more of the unsweetened cocoa and biscuits. Not a sweet smoke by any means. The last third was more of the same. Very one dimensional. I had a few touch ups mainly because of the rain and humidity but actually burned very nicely. Overall I would rate this an 85. It burnt good and the flavor came out after the first third but obviously it's not a very complex smoke. It is a nice quick morning smoke though if you don't have time.
