I find that enjoying a cigar while being active(playing golf, yard work, riding a horse) makes it more difficult to thoroughly enjoy the subtle flavors and nuances the cigar has to offer, however, doing those things is also enhanced with a cigar in hand, so, catch 22...

1/3; blasts of rich cocoa/chocolate flavors mingle with a woody smoke, as the media corona burns unevenly, yet requiring no touchups. This box of cigars have some of the oiliest wrappers ive ever seen in a box of cigars, along with a recent 24:24 Monte 4 box I bought, dark and oily wrappers, makes me wonder if they require more rest bc of said oil and wrapper darkness.

2/3: darker flavors begin to emerge, yet the rich cocoa and chocolate still remain, a very hints of nuts and wood are in this cigar, but for the majority of the third its an earthy flavor profile. The strength feels a very heavy medium.

final third: this cigar definitely has great flavors, but it tasted much too young still, event at 2.5 years old, ill chalk that up to being very dark and oily. At 35 minutes, however, I was happy with what I got, not blown away, and thankfully not blown off the horse I was on...89
