Popular Post Artin Posted August 4, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 4, 2019 I love Hoyo’s. Palmas Extra’s to me are a great sized cigar: 40 x 5.5”. They exhibit classic Hoyo flavors. I found this particular cigar medium bodied with not a lot of youthful characteristics as they did when I just got the box. I’m down to my last two now and I would like to keep them for another couple of years and see how the flavors develop. From the beginning, a creaminess was present that lasted till the end of the cigar. A tad bit of chocolate to go along as well. In the final third, a lovely almond flavor began to show itself which really wrapped up the cigar nicely. This cigar has evolved nicely to date and I have enjoyed it thoroughly. Overall this was a 91 point cigar. I’d like to guess that this cigar would become a 94-95 point cigar once it hits 5 years old. 5
Artin Posted August 4, 2019 Author Posted August 4, 2019 Oh and I paired this with a Santiago de Cuba rum
duabley Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 I totally agree, the size and flavor makes for a great experience! I had a 14 & a 16 box but have had issues with the draw consistency....had you had any trouble as well? Perhaps I was just unlucky. Anyhow, thanks for the review and that rum is fantastic!

zyxwvu44 Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 I've had great draw on a whole '15 box but no complexity at all. Great creamy flavor that did not change at all throughout the whole smoke. For the price these are really great... definitely will look for another box given the value
