Popular Post irratebass
According to CCW this is considered a Lonsdale, so hopefully it's eligible. This was gifted to me, and sadly the only thing I wrote on it was "898" I believe this was given to me in 2016, so there's a good chance it's a 2015, maybe a 2016 I don't really know....sorry. This is a great looking stick, wrapper has a few veins, but no visible seams. It's firm, but not too much, there is a bit of give when i squeeze it. On the body I pick up a faint cedar aroma, and on the foot I get cinnamon!!!!! 1/3 Right away I am greeted with a sweet tobacco flavor that blooms with cinnamon and cream with a hint of cedar on the finish. 2/3 Getting a bit of honey on the finish and on the retro, the other flavors are still there and staying consistent, 3/3 This third opens with some bread flavors along with the other flavors mentioned above. This is a really nice cigar. It's probably right at a medium, but just barely. There is some black and white pepper in here that keeps it from being a mild cigar, but definitely no spice. Draw Had a nice open draw with plenty of smoke with my v-cut. Burn Wasn't terrible, but I did have several re-lights that were more annoying than anything, but they didn't really happen until the middle of the 2nd. Construction Construction was on point until the re-lights happened, but again no complaints. Overall I get the love that the 898 gets now, this might have been my 2nd one i've ever smoked, and this was a great smoking experience. I got cream, bread, pepper both black & white, along with cinnamon, and cedar... just love that cinnamon flavors in my cigars. Smoking time 120 mins.
