This was gifted to be, but the gifter was kind enough to include the code & year. I really like the RC's, not sure I've had one this young, so let's see how it goes. 

 

Beautiful looking cigar with with some seams and a veins here & there, nothing to worry about. Crap I forgot to smell the cigar before I lit up #fail

Cold draw greets me with caramel with some hay, cedar and a bit of honey.

Uh oh this draw is really tight.......grab my PerfecDraw.....doesn't help much......try again....still no dice. I re-cut it (v at 1st) go with the straight now.......still tight, PerfectDraw to the rescue? Not really, but I have a better draw now. 

Pretty much getting those same flavors I mentioned above. Getting more cedar on the retro though.

Getting more honey in the beginning of this third which is nice, because so far this cigar has been a challenge to smoke not gonna lie.

On the plus side the draw is more tolerable. Sadly nothing much more to report in this third.

Puff after puff after puff and i'm now getting a kind of wintergreen flavor.....never experienced that in a Bolivar before, interesting and weird. 

This Boli has come back to life now here in it's final moments, still getting that wintergreen flavor mixed with heavy wood as well. 

 

Burn

 

No real issues with the burn, only went out on me one time

 

Draw

 

Tight as a virgin....opened up at the end of the 2nd, beginning of the third.....sadly the PerfecDraw didn't help it

 

Construction

 

Despite the draw I have no real complaints it burned like a champ, and when i could get smoke out there was plenty. 

 

Overall

 

Meh, this cigar was way too young, i should've known better, but oh well live an learn. It had potential, there were some interesting flavors for sure......wintergreen? C'mon! Along with the honey, cedar and caramel there was some nice flavors going on here.
