Quay d'Orsay Corona. Unknown code (2011?) (PQRW)

After trying to get a box to compare the flavors, I decided to break into the vault and try this QdO Corona.

 

To have around 9 years of age and still have the strong taste and spiciness surprised me. After a few puffs the flavors subside and I started to pick a roasted nuts aftertaste in the retrohale.

 

The spice comes and goes together with the nuttiness and some cream at the middle of the cigar.

 

The final third comes too fast and a dark charred flavor develops which I can only think it was because I was smoking a little fast.

 

I really enjoyed this cigar and I look forward to get a box of the new bands and compare. Cheers!
