Hoyo de Monterrey Hoyo du Prince (Unknown Date) (HRW)

I decided to have a Hoyo du Prince that I received a couple months ago while drinking some champagne in Paris before dinner. 

Pre-cut draw: Perfect. Notes of leather could be picked up, and my hopes were high that this would be a great smoke.

First third: leather was the abundant flavor with just a bit of chocolate to give it the typical cubanesque sweetness.

Second third: leather was still there, but the chocolate picked up with some eathiness towards the end.

Finsl third: the earthiness really took over with the leather and chocolate lurking in the background.

Final thoughts: A great cigar! Flavor was abundant, and the construction was perfect. 4.5/5
