leafdream54 Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 This is from a 24:24 Hand Picked SMA JUN 18. It's been resting for about 30 days. Pre-draw: sweet cedar, perfect draw The cigar starts off with a strong cedar flavor and sharp aroma. There is a slightly wonky burn about half way, along with a few brief good flavors of RyJ dna, then there is a slight dryness to the smoke, along with lots of 'elbows and knees'. Conclusion: these are much too young for now. Back into storage they go for at least a few more months, before I try another. I think they will be good smokes, but they just need more down time. 1
Siberian Bear Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 Thank you for this review! This happens to be one of my favorite fresh smokes, I get cherry flavors all the way, which I can't say the same for other RyJ sticks of similar age.
