Have been wanting to sample this cigar since I acquired the box but they were too wet to even try one ROTT which I normally do after a week or so. I waited at least 90 days and dry boxed this for a day.

Paired with a rum I really enjoy.

For such a young cigar and a touch underfilled with a soft spot in the middle of the cigar, it actually burned quite well with few touch ups. Draw was perfect, with good smoke production.

First 1/3 was excellent. Such sweetness to it you could almost taste hints of caramel. I think this cigar has loads of potential to be a big brother of the PLPC.

The second third was a little all over the place showing its youth. Picked up some leather, coffee but had the burnt tobacco/Sweetness or mongral as Prez puts it.

The final third was much of the same but did seem to improve. It had a long finish that left an oily slick on the palate. Deep coffee notes with less sweetness on the back end.

 

I am really excited to see how these perform down the road.

You're right, but I bought 5 sticks from this, and I couldn't see the box code due to the health warning stickers.

the series number is 4638/10000 if it is closed to your, maybe the box code also similar.

Just checked. It’s 1403/10000 if that helps at all. I would assume most boxes are from this factory.
