Hump Day Humour: Fireworks.

When I lived on acreage, I celebrated my 35th birthday with a party for the ages. 

it was such a beautiful and quiet semi rural area full of horses and rustic charm.  The party change dthat as 80 or so friends and family descended to celebrate. 

My brother brought a tool box full of fireworks that "fell off the back of a truck". You see fireworks are banned here. They are banned mostly because of what happened next......bedlam. Having been drinking since lunchtime and not knowing what we were doing (or what firework we were handling), the resulting madness saw fireworks hit the house, hit sheep, cause a stampede and impinged on neighbour relations for years. The crowd /guests on the hill were cheering and laughing ....until the rockets took off right for them.  I was in the doghouse domestically for months.
