We were having some issues with Tapatalk over the weekend.  I looked at their support forum and noted that we are not the only ones 

I asked Jason (refresh) and Steve (MoeFOH) to look at it for me. Steve said he thinks he has worked out what is going on at tapatalk and why Tech appear to have taken some time off.
