Auspaul Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 Unknown date for this came from America probably could have gotten a Cuban here cheaper after customs violated me left me feeling very dirty, that horrible experience was made up for by the quality of the cigar . Rich looking Oily wrapper fairly firm construction was the first time I had a CAO Its a very nice looking cigar pre draw seems good smells nice Not a great fan of Non Cubans but this one starts of quite nicely smooth coffee cedar slight spice a very nice flavor for the first third. It burns pretty evenly ash does not get to long seems very soft and falls of after about half an inch. The flavor intensifies with cocoa and chocolate coming in the further it is smoked. There is no metallic taste like with some other Non Cubans I have had, has a very smooth draw I ended up in the pool with a few beers having a very relaxing afternoon. A slight pepper taste at the end a milder cigar with some decent flavor Burnt pretty well, one relight needed at the end a very enjoyable cigar not too weak not too strong would smoke again . 2
SerieDD Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Great review. I had the same cigar tonight. I thought you were spot on. I'd say mine had more pepper, but not a bomb. And my condolences on the customs. I feel bad for my Australian BOTL every time I see 24:24. I feel bad for my Canadian friends every time I'm in Toronto and wander into a store.
