CNY- 2003 DES DIEUX

The underground box pass had a side competition a few weeks back and@ethernut was kind enough to send out some 2003 des dieux to the winners. I did not win, but another member,@zeedubbya offered to send me his when the box arrived to him.

 

I am also in the process of moving. The last week has been extremely stressful, yet filled with excellent cigars. I smoked the des dieux on Christmas day, and it was hands down the best cigar I've ever smoked.

 

The complexity and smoothness were like no cigar I've ever experienced. There was a period of almost 2 hours of pure bliss on such a wonderful day.

 

Thank you two so much, for making such an amazing cigar possible for me to experience. This community is truly unlike any other.

Legendary is the perfect word to describe that cigar. Thank you for your generosity! Not sure I would ever run into a cigar like that otherwise, so it was definitely a rarity for me.

Nicely done all around. I've developed a liking for these this past year, and I am cherishing the few remaining sticks I have from '03. It's an elegant cigar, a little on the mild side, and probably one of the reasons why I find them so tasty and complex. I don't anticipate waiting much longer to smoke these 15-yo cigars.
