Had a Robin fall out of the nest once.  Used gloves to put him/her back and the nest did well.  All the kids flew away. 

I love watching my birds.....robins, cardinals, etc.  Something very calming watching nature, especially with a cigar.

And don't get me started on the wild turkey family that always makes an appearance.  So funny to watch them.  Now if we could please get rid of the black crows that would be great!!!!

Yeah I have seen a few in my travels. I think your variety is easier to tame down than mine. Known for hand feeding. I am buying houses and feeders to try to keep them around. They are really cool
