2000 VR Unico

Busted this one out after finding it in the bottom on my singles drawer. It was something I had acquired awhile ago and wasn't in a hurry to get to it.

 

I have to say that VR isn't my normal flavor profile but it is one that I have enjoyed periodically. This cigar has an almost perfect draw and has been an awesome experience so far. I'm a little over half way and it hasn't let down yet.

 

The fact that the flavors have moved along since the start and it's still in one piece has a true quality to it. Not harsh after the initial light and a really mellow, but distinct, taste. I would have loved to been able to have had a comparison from then until now to see how the profile changed, if any.

 

Anyone else have 15+ year old sticks that they have tasted recently?
