I was there about a year ago. It was a bit hard to find - up an escalator on the second floor of a small mall on Pres. Masyrak. And they're closed on Sundays and during lunchtime; the hours were not clear at all and it took 3 visits to find it open.

But once i got there, I was impressed with a pretty great selection in a very small space. They have an entire shelf of aged and vintage stuff (Punch and HdM churchills, Lanceros, etc.) The bummer is that you can't open boxes because the Mexico health warning label wraps literally around the entire box.

And, of course, prices are high in Mexico. I picked up a box of HdM DCs that ended up costing nearly as much as a 50 cab from our host.

But the service was very friendly and helpful.

If I were there again, I would stick to the aged and limited stuff and be prepared to spend A LOT. The regular production boxes can be had for better prices elsewhere.

Thanks for the advice.  I'm in to buy a few sticks of aged and limitado.  What is this "prepared" range you speak of?$. Not much experience with CC's as is let alone the mature smokes.  Any direction there?

You might want to check out the websites of some of the other Mexican LCDH shops. I'm sure the prices won't be dead on, but they can give you a ballpark. Unfortunately, CCs are very expensive in Mexico. Thankfully, you can get about 20 pesos to the dollar these days if you're coming from the U.S.

Here is the website for the LCDH in Hermosillo: https://casadelhabano.com.mx/

Good deal. I'll check it out.  Yup I have an advantageous currency.  See how it pans out. I'll report back should my work trip not ambush the cigar trip.

I was there about 4 months ago, it is actually hard to find on President Mazaryk in Polanco, Mexico. It is a really small place packed with loads of cigars and a nice selection of vintage ones. You can go to "El cigarrito" too, they have some nice cigars, they have an internet webpage.

A facebook friend of mine has an "Habanos point" in Mexico and sold me a couple of months ago a box of Edmundo Dantes RE Mexico, if you want I can give you his FB contact so you can talk with him.

Anyway, enjoy your trip, I forgot, please go to the "Cigar bar", a nice smoke friendly place.

I'm in Ciudad Juárez! I've lived in many places in Mexico but right now I have been living in Juárez for about 3 years. Where are you living?

Cool! I'm living in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I'm from. I really like Mexico, and would love to try to live there someday. Never been to Juarez, but I've spent a lot of time in the border areas in Baja. Good times.

/Sorry for hijacking your thread a bit, YOM'$ :D

Hi, I can ask if my buddy still has some, but they are very expensive (I paid almost 300 bucks for the 10 box), tobacco taxes are very high in Mexico :(

Not sure how easy these are to find. When I went to my source in January he said he was waiting on a shipment that would be next month... Have not heard back from him so don't know if they came through or not
