PLPC- EML MAY 2014

This is my third cigar for a cabinet of 50, and that would also make it my third PL I have ever smoked. I very much enjoy trying different vitolas and marcas. For me, the fun is in exploring and broadening my taste/palate horizons. That being said I'm no expert and quite content to learn from the more experienced connoisseurs

First Third

Light cedar and toasted almond. The burn is great and construction is good. Nice mellow sweetness in the background. The predominate taste is cedar, but nutty sweetness sticks on around after exhale.

Second Third

Same as above. Not much of an evolution. Lots of cedar with just a touch of sweetness in the back.

Last Third

Not much has changed but the sweetness has intensified a bit. Not the caramel that others have found, but maybe it has that coming in a few years.

Conclusion

A fantastic cigar that I'm happy to own and will enjoy experiencing cigars form this box for years to come. I hope to have the chance to experience one with a bit more age to see if I can get the caramel hit.
