Is anyone else into cold drip coffee? Tried it recently whilst on holidays. Love it.

If it's not cold brew or my Oxo cone filtered hot coffee, I don't drink it.

I tried some cold drip recently. It was advertised as full flavour with less acidity and it did taste smoother.
Are there any good kits to make this at home?

Dicko, it's not difficult and no special equipment involved - I guess it's more steeping than brewing. Here's a link, scroll down to Mike's post for a link to instructions:

I've been drinking cold brew as of late and also find it to be smoother. I'll get around to trying it myself.

Mix with cold water in a jar, place in fridge overnight, use a cheap cone filter from a drip maker.... no kits needed

You could probably find a cheap drip maker for 10 bucks at a thrift store. Also, coffee ground ratios aren't quite as crucial since tannins and acids aren't extracted nearly as much

Or if you have a French press, do the normal amount you would for hot, just use cold water set in the fridge for a few hours (min 4) and then you have some cold brew.  Great stuff.

Im in the coffee business and its by far our biggest product. I use the hario pot at home. 18-20 hr soak with course grind.
