I'm a third generation cigar smoker that has been away from the game for some time due to a relationship. She found my smoking disgusting and I found her Meatloaf to be the same but I still loved her. Now that I'm once again single at 50 I find it more enjoyable to smoke my wrapped beauties than to hunt down a mate. Now if I can only find a Beauty that likes to smoke wrapped Beauties now that would be Beautiful. Oh yea... I'm a Father of 4 and Grandfather of 3. I had my first cigar when I was about 10. I grew up in a large Italian Family with my Grandparents living above us. I spent the majority of my time with them due to my parents working and my Grandmother's cooking (man I miss her Gravy). After dinner I would smell my Grandfather's Humidor and I would race to his favorite chair so we could sit and watch TV while talking Baseball. It was one of my favorite times of the day. One night I asked if I could try his cigar and to my surprise he went and fetched a fresh one from the Humidor. I sat up and put on my best big boy act but it soon came crashing down after my first pull. He gave me no instructions, lit it up and sat back with a smile. I inhaled like a champ and began choking, drooling and puking my brains out. My Grandmother came running in and began yelling at my Pops who now was pissing himself with laughter. It was a lesson he was trying to teach and I guess it worked because the next smoke I had was at my 21st birthday. A cigar gifted by Pops with a smile. Loved the man but wanted to kick his ass for setting me up lol. I stumbled upon this forum looking for info on CC's. I'm no expert and will do my best to play within the rules. Thanks for having me. I find myself checking this forum sometimes two or more times a day, this place is great. You are going to love the CC journey. I started my taste a long time back and also strayed from cigars due to cigarette smoking. A trip to Cuba in January and my fire has been ignited and can't get enough. Enjoy! you will love the expertise you find here.
