billh1 Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 This is the kind of NFL Draft it was for the Western Kentucky football program: The Hilltoppers had more guys (three) selected than Kentucky, Tennessee or Vanderbilt and as many as five other Southeastern Conference programs (Auburn, South Carolina, Mississippi State, Texas A&M and Missouri). Western Kentucky three guys: Tyler Higbee, tight end, fourth round, Los Angeles Rams; Brandon Doughty, quarterback, seventh round, Miami Dolphins; Prince Charles Amorah, defensive back, seventh round, San Francisco 49ers. stogieluver Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Good for your guys! My Ole Miss Rebels had three first rounder's, two more taken later, and five more who have signed free agent contracts. Pretty good draft, even with the Tunsil fiasco, which, when the truth comes out, will be good for the Rebels in the end. Coach Hugh Freeze is a man of unshakeable faith and of the highest integrity, regardless of what the story line is with the lazy media, and our enemies in the SEC West (Mississippi State) who say the program has been built on cheating. NO WAY this man is running a dirty program.

WKU also had 5 undrafted free agents that I didn't mention earlier. Happy for the young men and wish them healthy, successful careers!
schquigly Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 My boss is a topper and I'm a UK fan. Congrats on the achievement, that TE will be a good one and the QB has a chance to be very solid.
