Scrubber Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Doing a bit of a clean up of my office before the Christmas break and I took a few bottles of scotch home which were gifts. Has anyone ever heard of "Gold Thimble" scotch? It is blended. It was bottled in Australia but produced in Scotland. It's only 37%ABV. I assume it was a budget bottle similar to Black Douglas. It is in a 750ml bottle which I understand were phased out in Australia around the late 90s? I can't find it for sale any where or any info on it. Anyone heard of it or ever tasted it? I'm guessing it's pretty crappy but just interested in knowing what I have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
MIKA27 Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Never heard of it but looking it up, the bottle shape is awfully similar to a bottle of Dimple Gold Thimble: DIMPLE:

Don't have very high hopes for it though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
