Bolivar CG vs. RC - Need advice

Hey guys,

I need some advice. I want to stock up in Bolivar. My dealer has some

BCG from OGA Abr 11.. can anyone of you tell me, how they perform in comparison to the recent ESO BCGs?

I have to add that i quite enjoyed recent production of 2014 and 2015 but 2011 was quite a good year too...

My alternative choice would be a box of ULA Jul14 BRCs... which one would you guys pick?

Bcg from the pres. A much better cigar than the rbc in my opinion, but I really dont like any robustos. So take it as you may.

Only one possible.. The problem is that i cannot order @el pres, cause of german tax law.

I've got a box of POU Feb 11 BCG which I've smoked 10 out of at various times since 2012 and they've all been fantastic. As long as its a decent box I would jump on the BCG

2014 BCG were quite special in the main. Overall better than 2011. Yet it comes down to the box in question. If you can inspect each then pick the one with the best wrapper, aroma at cold and construction. I wouldn't worry so much about the year. Get the best box.

On a poorly taken picture the BCG look quite nice.

I just smoked a ESO Jun 15 BCG from a split with billh1. It was a great cigar from beginning to end! I can only image if it had a year of age on it. I doubt they will make it that far the way they are smoking now. I will be on the lookout for a ESO 14 box if any are left.

I've had the 2011 and the 2014, though not from the box codes you seek. Both boxes of BCG for me came from FOH and the 2011's were so good I ordered the 2014; and the 2014's topped the 2011. Since these came from El Pres they were screened for quality and I don't know what you'd get ordering blind.

Just to toss in a loop. I love my box of BRC I got from Prez. I have only had a handful but they are smoking like a dream. Nothing against the BCG, also impeccable but I find it tricky to find the time to get to truly enjoy that much stick. If you can find a stellar box of BRC I say they are the ones. The profile, draw, aroma, and well...etc are almost perfect Bolivar for me. Just my two cents.

Really can't go wrong with either.
