BRC 2014 Weekend Review Competition

Beautiful seconds that I purchased last month. If all seconds were like these the world would be a better place and world peace would be within reach.

Smoked this BRC this afternoon while gardening. Nothing to pair it with - didn't need to.

First third; lots of kick to it. Some cacao, peat notes. Thin wrapper, but really nice draw, perfect construction - burned evenly despite the wind.

Second third; wood notes starting to be very present and still the cacao flavours. Getting stronger after each puff.

Last third; always my favorite moment when I smoke a BRC: full body, the cacao flavours are now mixed with hazelnuts. Love it. Tasting some wood towards the very end.

Always enjoyable. A great robusto that I should really smoke more often. May smoke another one tonight with a glass Legendario anejo rum, just for good measure.
