If a box has been left in a/c dry humidity, how many months would need to pass before CC reach point of no return to be revived in humi. Would two months still be OK? Back from holidays whistle whistle.gif

Two months in an environment of below 50% RH would dry them out pretty good. To bring them back to smokability you would have to gradually (cigars do not like rapid changes in RH levels) bring them back to your desired levels. Not sure how long this would take but suffice to say it will not be a fast process. They will never get back to the original flavour profile and will likely have a rather plain monotone tobacco taste, but you might be able to get them back to smokable.

You can bring back 2-month dry cigars. No problem. They may or may not have lost flavors because of volatile oils going pfffft! But some of that depends on how exposed to air they were. Just go slow so you don't split any wrappers and you'll be fine. They might be a bit more mellow than you'd expect, but still enjoyable.

My cousin had some esplendidos sitting out forever. I put them in my humidor for 8 months and smoked one last night. 3/4 of the flavor is gone.

I scored a small stash of vintage CC's from a friends father a while back

They were stored in a humidor but the green foam thing had never been filled

Been in my humidor for a little over 2 years and still feel pretty dry
