billh1 Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I've smoked a few of these over the last couple of months with each successive one tasting better the last. Without comparing it to other Bolivars and how well it represents the marca what are your thoughts on this cigar?
Blace Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I'm enjoying mine a lot also! The profile isn't particularly Bolivar, however, it does deliver a very enjoyable ~1.5hrs.
polarbear Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Great Stick More LE than Bolivar though (prob why I like them so much...)
sheppsea Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 The one I smoked last year was a good smoke, but I didn't think they were out of this world; it didn't make me desperate to go out and get more
hellorockview12 Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 I had one that I would argue was the best cigar I've ever had. The flavor, the construction, the burn, all were so perfect. It could also have been that it left such an impression on me as it was such a GREAT day outside and the beers were flowing! The second one I had was the only plugged Cuban cigar I've ever had! I have two more and I hope to try one soon.
billh1 Posted June 2, 2015 Author Posted June 2, 2015 Hope it's not a tosser like the last one! PM me when you smoke the next one and let me know how it goes. I have two more as well that I'm going to try to hide from myself till next year. Wish me luck!
Rye Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 The ones I had hit a balanced and creamy stage about a year and a half ago, and that spelled their end. None left to revisit, but they changed dramatically from first release. As stated above, more LE then Boli, but not a bad blend at all once they aged
Redsoxnat Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Fantastic stick. Had a few and they were all fantastic. I do agree that they are a little more LE than Boli but I don't think the main Boli profile is lost. Really enjoy. Might actually have one tonight...thanks for the idea.
