CanuckSARTech Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 So, I haven't been on here too much over the last few weeks. Been crazy busy yet again. But I'm curious...who's going to Havana later on this month? The 2015 Festival Habanos is running Feb 22nd to 27th (Monday to Friday). I know of a few of the regulars who are going. I'll be down there from Fri, Feb 27, through until Fri, Mar 6th. It took me a while to get my current work plans all sorted out, but they're sorted out now, and it'll allow a date window as above. That'll let me be there for the tail-end of the fesitval hijinks, and no doubt a rockin' Friday and Saturday night, but then have a bunch of days for "tranquilo" relaxation and going with the vibe. Who's going down? What are your travel / timeline particulars??

I am fortunate to be going to San Diego to welcome home my oldest son from his 1st Marine deployment. Just happy to have him home safe and sound. Been a year since we saw him last so many cigars will be burned in his honor! 3

Hotel Kohly (not ideal, but it's what it is due to the late notice, and the organizing I needed to do with work plans). Although, that's generally where I'll be resting my head. I'll be staying wherever the mood strikes me - Hotel Nacional back terrace for smokes frequently, El Gato for nightcaps, a number of well-known and not-so-well-known foodspots likely. This will definitely be a go-with-the-flow visit. 1

I delayed heavily due to work planning details, and I missed out on my initial wanted spots (Nacional, Presidente, Copacabana). So, all that was now left was that spot at the Kohly, and there's apparently only a handful of spots left.

I told Andy how you confessed to me many years ago, in a drunken stupor (can't remember if it was yours or mine ), that you gave reverence to him as the worst instigator of trouble between you all. He's got a high bar to live up to. LOL.
