polarbear Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 With all the things the anti tobacco lobby has been doing these last few years around the world (is it just me or does it feel like the bad news is coming more frequently these days?) I though it would be nice to tell you all of a smoking restriction (sort of) that has been repealed In the Northern Territory it is now once again acceptable to serve and consume food in outdoor smoking areas in any licenced venue. A restriction was implemented around 2 years ago that said no food could be served in any area when smoking occurred. This included collecting your meal at the bar and then taking it into the smoking area yourself. This restriction seems to have been overturned, at least for now While I am not a fan of smoking while eating, it is nice to see that there are occasions where common sense can prevail 1
