smk819 Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Most use the term. but I was wondering how everyone describes the taste.
Colt45 Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Normally, for me, it's a tingly sensation on the tongue and or throat. But the spice I associate with Cubans is a bit different..... It's more of a mouth-watering, sweet and sour sensation, which I love.
Loki Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 I guess it all depends on ones personal tastes , for me spice is the flavors associated with black or white pepper. Spice tends to be prevalent in the Partagas line. But I do agree that spice can be paired with sweet. My favorite pairing is spice and earth. I love an earthy-spicey cigar.
El Presidente Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 For me: Savoury Spice: Salt Pepper Hot Paprica Cumin Sweet Spices: clove Chinese 5 spice cinnamon nutmeg Saffron Sweet Paprika
wasch_24 Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 When I read someone describing a cigar a spicy the first thing I think of is jalapeno spice. Personally I can tase hot/peppery spice as well as sweet spice.
Ben Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 The Spice Melange is unique to the planet Arrakis and is the basis of Galactic Commerce. The Spice Must Flow.
