Cigar Shops in Ottawa?

I'm going to be in Ottawa this week. Can our Ottawa FOH friends suggest a cigar shop or two for me to check out if I have some spare time? Thanks. ---- sam

There is a nice lounge in the Gatineau Hilton across the water. Can't help with shops though, sorry.

The best selection is at a store in the market area off downtown...ottawa cigar emporium...lots of selection but crazy pricing of course with taxes...the lounge (Bacchus) in the hilton attached to the lac leamy casino is a nice smoking lounge only indoor in the area...they do have cigars but not a lot of selection.

I concur with Diamondog, the Cigar Emporium in the Byward Market downtown is your best bet but prices are high, i mean really high. There are a few other smoke shops nearby that carry cigars but you take your chances with storage and authenticity. There are also a few other sources but they are not centrally located and you would need a car\taxi to access them.

Bacchus cigar lounge is nice and you can bring your own cigars. They do have a small cigar selection to choose from as Diamondog stated.
