Briand Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Living in Montreal we are blessed with 2 great cigar bars ( there maybe more but these are the 2 I got to) The first is Stogies @ 2015 crescent st. It's great place to stop after work and grab a drink and a smoke . It is very relax and chill but late night it does turn into a night club. You can bring your own cigars (the bars prices are higher than local b/m stores and the staff can cut a cigar but they are useless when it comes to recommendtions. Just bring your own with you. The second is a Casa del habanons at 1434 Sherbrooke st. I can not say enough good things about the staff. They pour a fine stiff drink are super friendly and will even cure any issues you have with your humidor. I have always bought my cigar from them and have never tried to bring in another cigar as they sell some great vintage cigars to smoke. So that's smoking in my fine city. If you like any tips on where to stay or eat in Montreal just let me know

Briand Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 Thank you for your help. I am going to Montreal in late April do you know if any of these two places sell the partagas Lusitania grand reserva? I will be picking up some cigars on Wednesday this week at a B/m store I will ask for you. What will be bring you to our fine city?
anjimj Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Much appreciated. I have been going there with my family since I was a kid and now I take my wife and kids every school vacation to Montreal to visit our family. It also gives me an opportunity to buy some cigars as we'll. My wife and I have a deal. She gets to spend a day with her cousins and I get to spend a few hours smoking cigars in one of lounges. Can you recommend a hotel nearby rue Sherbrooke that is kid friendly?
Briand Posted December 14, 2014 Author Posted December 14, 2014 I left out Rib and Reef. at 8105 Boulevard Décarie, Montréal, QC H4P 2H5. Great food and you can bring your own smokes! Only is its about 30 cab fare from downtown
treberty Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 The pub above chez Alexandre - on Peel St. -is great. Small, not too smoky. My personal favorite though is the small courtyard at the Baldwin, on Laurier Ave. not super comfortable, but more welcoming than my shed. And there's a gas burner to keep you warm, even when it's -5C. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ChrisMG Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 my bachelor party will be in Montreal in October. We will have to make a stop. thanks for the info!
