Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte Cordoba

Honduran 5 1/2 x 44 box press @ around 70%rh

opened with a punch and paired with a tall glass of chateau de warragamba.

cellophane had some discoloration, indicating this is not a fresh cigar.

Pre-light draw was a little tight with a weird fruit cake flavor

Opened with cedar on the draw and an earthy finish.

draw opened up to perfect resistance almost immediately.

1st third.

Beginning with a nutty draw paired with a building pepper finish this cigar transitions fairly quickly, dropping the pepper and picking up a delectable honey finish.

Ash held on for about 1" and the burn, whilst not razor, required no attention.

flavors changed again towards the end of the third, sweet on the draw with a pepper finish.

Definitely feeling the nicotine now, this cigar has legs.

2nd third.

Flavors are now sweet on the draw with a lingering honey finish and I find myself in serious danger of "Squeeking" this cigar.

slowing down to less than 1ppm and the construction seems flawless, good smoke production off the foot and burn requiring no corrections.

flavors have developed into a grassy/nutty draw with a lingering pepper finish later adding honey to the finish.

It's at about half way that i realize i'm in trouble, this cigar has legs and there kicking my ass.

So, I beat a hasty retreat and return with reinforcements in the form of a honey sandwich.

unfortunately my hiatus has caused some burn issues, it's touch-up time.

the stick now has a pepper draw with a building pepper finish.

Final third

I admit defeat.

Laid it down on the stump and took the happy snap.

about an hour later, after the re-light it turned into a complete pepper bomb, dry pepper on the draw with a building pepper finish.

there was 1 last flourish of honey and pepper on the finish

overall a massively satisfying smoke.

transitions and complexity are up there with the best of em.

If this isn't strong enough for you, there is always the 6 x 60 Seville

I do recommend them and I will be buying more
