CanuckSARTech Posted October 8, 2013 Author Posted October 8, 2013 Yup, I just went with a standard 64-oz brown glass growler. I was really impressed with the quality and variety of the craft-brewed beers while out there in Halifax. Yum! Sent from my iPhone via Tapatalk.
Bill Hayes Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Beer and light don't get on real well. Hence, beers that need a little age on them like Stouts and IPA's usually come in dark glass bottles - which brings me to my point - I was put off by beer in a can because of the types of beer I drank out of a can like the mass produced varieties until I tried a couple of quality American and Japanese pale ales in cans like Dale's Pale Ale and Yona Yona which are two of my favourites but really hard to find. I think the growler idea is great way to save money if you find a micro brewer close by that makes a few varieties that you really enjoy.
